The Environmental Protection Dialogue (EPD) is an environmental accountability space for all sectors aimed at co-creating solutions to our key environmental challenges through effective dialogue. The EPD2024 is set for 9th to 11th October 2024 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Kenneth Kaunda Wing in Lusaka, Zambia under the theme: “STRENGHTHENING ENVIRONMENTAL LAW FOR THRIVING COMMUNITIES.” The EPD2024 will bring together 500 physical delegates and over 50 joining virtually comprising of government line ministries, civil society organisations, private sector, UN agencies, regional bodies, international organisations, foreign dignitaries, traditional leaders, community-based organisations, faith-based organisations, civil leaders, environmental legal practitioners, environmental activists, academia, youth and women associations, and the media.

Convening partners and sponsors reinforce their brands as environmental leaders and champions by maximizing their visibility before, during, and after dialogue. The EPD platform creates opportunities to engage with different stakeholders, individuals and institutions that promote environmental sustainability and sustainable development. The EPD contributes to research in critical issues such as ecosystem restoration, environmental governance, and furthering environmental justice and rights to mention a few.
